What a wonderful Sunday at Open Gardens! The parishioners opened up their gardens to the parish to raise money for Upwell Methodist Church. Every garden was equally beautiful and unique. From those pack with colour to others which grew vegetables and another which transported you to Europe. It was so lovely to see the care and attention to each design. The Roman garden included a statue of the goddess of agriculture, others took care in creating habitat for wildlife while some use recycled materials to make water features and decorative pieces. One garden included beds and baskets which the grandchildren had made- sharing the knowledge and passion for gardening. It was inspirational to see what can be acheived in gardens of all sizes. Thank you to the talented gardeners for sharing their gardens with the parish!
